Thanks to the compatibility of the components, the installation of a Fuego KIT or a model change is relatively simple. If you have an older model machine with obsolete technology, you may have to change the electronic components, which will not present major difficulties. The adaptability of the unit allows the necessary components to be easily placed for operation of the new model.
Obviously, the replaceable components are specific to each model, such as methacrylate, tape reels, game and graphics programs (in the case of video). Furthermore, the necessary electronic components to modernise the machine will be incorporated, for example, the banknote recycler or the simplification of control boards.
This is not mechanically difficulty. The various components can be dissembled with just two tools: a screwdriver and a 7-gauge tube wrench. To remove the methacrylate you have to loosen the sides of the upper door (through interior screws along the door - just remove the ones on the right and the top), and the push-button by releasing it from the two screws on the bottom part of the profitsplan.
Replacing the CPU is very simple as it has the same size and connectors. It is necessary to consider your model this when ordering the KIT, as it may already have components that do not need to be installed, or you might need to incorporate newer components or replace obsolete ones. In the case of computers, you will need to check the model since SHUTTLE V2 and SHUTTLE V3 are obsolete and mustbe replaced. Even though they may function correctly, they do not have enough capacity to support the graphics of the new games and maynot detect one of the devices.
The models with the most modern technology, which incorporate 9300 boards and ZOTAC 9300 and GLAMOR or computers, should function correctly, although you will probably need to extend the RAM up to 2GB, if you do not already have it.
The KIT includes installation manuals, in addition to an upgrade CD for computers that need it. However, if you have any questions you can consult Carfama's technical service.
Once the machine has been converted, you can proceed to make adjustments for its operation for the general public, such as hopper values, banknote admission, recycler payout values, percentage, etc.
The assembly of the KIT in its MG version to convert the El Chiringuito Magnum model is quite similar to that described above and does not present anymajor difficulty. However, it is advisable to carefully follow the installation manual prior to installation and, if in doubt, seek help from Carfama's technical service.
